How-to Solve Your Web Hosting Needs- With Our Guaranteed Tips to Help You Gain A Fast Advantage...

Deciding to start your own website shouldnt be a risky business. Afterall it is suppose to be fun and allow you to express yourself in a variety of ways, so as the people of the world can learn just who you are when they visit your site. Or if you are starting an online business or affiliate marketing, then building a decent website with good content should not be a hassle. However, there are web hosting companies that can lure you into a trap and try to keep you there. They offer a simple online contract that can bind you to their services that are not as reliable, efficient and especially as affordable as other web hosting companies. You may even be asking yourself, what is web hosting and why do I need it? Well the answer is simple. In order to have a website online, you have to have it hosted through a company that offers web hosting. Before just purchasing an account through the first web hosting company you come across, it'll be best to review our list and read more on web hosting here first.

Our services at providing web hosting reviews online started about five years back because of a few web hosting plans that simply backfired in our face. This costed us around $1600 per month for three years, becuase at the time we were running a community network online for friends, which eventually became something similar to MySpace. However, we were out of a very substantial amount of money. So my team of webmasters developed a little site that we like to keep updated with the top five web hosting plans that will not shut off services for no good reason, and they are fast and efficient, and of course- more importantly they are less expensive.

HostGator Review

Let us begin by saying that the absolute best shared web hosting package, which is really for almost all people out there is supplied by hostgator. Hostgator has been around for a while, and their data centers are magnificent. They have dual backup systems (ADS) for major blackouts and power outages- which basically means that power could fail across the whole united states, but your server will still be live. Hostgator's plan packages are the least expensive around for the services that you get. Also, we just want to note right here that Hostgator's technical support team is the best around. Straight out-of-the-box, hostgator has it all- ready and waiting. There proficiency as a web hosting company really shows through on all matters in which they partake.  Their servers are top-of-the-line and energy efficient and they just run a really clean ship.  There really isn't much that can take the place of Hostgator on our review list.  They are just simply, the best!

Next- let's move on to HostMonster. Now this get's a little tricky. Hostmonster would actually be our number one pick as the best of all time overall, hands-down web hosting companies- however if you are building your website in asp (Active Server Pages) which actually is a low percentage of website across the board- then Hostmonster is a bad choice for you. Their package plan is magnificent- since they only offer one; and they DO offer everything (except ASP with chillsoft). They have the best technical support team around, and they offer unlimited everything at a flat annual rate which is lower than any other service from any other web host around.

We honestly believe that 99% of people searching for a great web hosting company to use will find Hostmonster as being exactly what they are looking for.

LiquidWeb Review - Online Leader in Reliability, More Expensive Rates

Liquidweb Hosting Review

Our next pick would have to be LiquidWeb. Liquidweb specializes in Managed Servers (aka. Dedicated Servers) which allows you full control over your entire system at a much steeper price. This can be unfortunate if you yourself are not a technical person nor do you have a real IT staff to maintain your "rented" server. However, LiquidWeb has an excellent technical support team that can keep your site(s) up and running, however; Liquidweb offers Shared Web Hosting at a little higher price range than any other web hosts mentioned on this page.
Whether you are looking for a shared hosting plan or a dedicated server we strongly recommend LiquidWeb- their service is top-of-the-line and their staff and support is great. You can shop around but the best in technology goes to LiquidWeb. With the Dedicated Server Plan you can actually customize your server as if you were buying a new Personal Computer.

Lunarpages Review - Offers Decent Reliability, at a Definitely Affordable Price

Lunarpages Review

Lunarpages is well-known, but they just are not sticking out to the public as well as Hostgator and Hostmonster. The reason why is because of their technical staff. We have rated their plans, packages, reliability and overall efficiency as five-star services, which means that above and beyond the call Lunarpages puts the competition to the test. However- when we purchased our plan with Lunarpages we actually had to intentionally break the server down just so we had a reason to test their technical support team. The result that we got was about seventy-two hours of downtime that we intentionally caused before technical support answered our support ticket and fixed the problem. Which was a little longer than we proposed it would take, however with hostmonster we had to do the same thing and they answered us back and fixed the problem within twenty minutes of actually placing the support ticket. So as a data center, they are excellent- but their technical support needs a little help.

Free Trial Phonies on the Web Hosting Front

We noticed a lot of things going on last summer with web hosting providers- trying to think of newer schemes to get your foot inside the door.  As a matter of fact, when the opportunity knocked- we answered the door and purchased a web hosting package through one of those companies just to test the waters.  The results were quite nasty, but not as bad as they could have been.  This company offered a three month free trial basis, that was extremely horrible.  Once purchasing the package, of course- just to put the web hosting company through their paces, we pretend that we have no clue what the first thing is about web hosting.  So it took us around five to six days just to get a hold of someone at the company to speak with and help us out with setting up our website.  Of course, I really cannot mention the companies name here- due to legal matters that may ensue if I did - however, besides for their technical support team not being worth the dimes that they are probably paid there (if a technical staff even exists there) we decided to continue playing coy until they helped us out.  Jason, our review team staff manager has the real documented results on this, but I shall just paraphrase.  For three full weeks (that I am certain) we went without having a website up and running because of all of the account setup process that was taking place.  Granted, it was a free trial- but with free trials we are testing the waters, to see how great a company is to try and convince us that we need to be using their services instead of the ones that we currently have.  So to make a long story short- they had to have our billing information along with a credit card at sign-up, that in which we complied.  However, they charged our credit card account 2 weeks before the 3 month trial was up for the full balance of a two-year contract.

Needless to say- we did back out, and their site- which was suppose to be a consideration of our top 5 web hosting review listings, was no longer in the running.

None of the packages listed above are marked as a free trial account and frankly we would rather refrain from even testing them. They are all bad business. As a matter of fact having a server and doing web hosting is suppose to be a type of business in which the client becomes comfortable with their web hosting provider, the interface and the functionality just feel like home. So why bother migrating if your really do not need to?
